MERRY CHRISTMAS!! And I wanna wish you all a very Happy New Year too from us at STT.

It's been a while since my last and a lot has happened since then. I had what seemed like an endless month of academic torture during which I barely kept track of the music scene. And after that I've just not gotten back into a routine.

I do however have a lot of good stuff to put up and a lot of people have been on my back to do a post so I decided to get on it and give you guys a Christmas and year ending gift.

Last week we saw Ummet Ozcan live. And it was a mad time! He played a nice progressive set and for me, the highlight of his set was Reboot. That track totally made my night. xD

Original is alright. Theres something bout her voice I love. The Eyes Dubstep remix and WIRED Dubstep remix are also mad!

Mark Otten's been around a while now. This track is one of the first I've heard by him. Loved the distorted vocals.

In The Sunshine - Disfunktion ft Max'C

The original mix of this track is high energy. Pumps up! Check out the Don Palm & Johan Wedel Remix as well. Nice prog on it. Shoutout to Niv for this track.

Status Excessu D - Gaia

This is the official track of ASOT 500. Pretty good.

Dawn to Dusk

Got quite a bit for you, some you might already know, some you might not.

So Pendulum are back. And they've done a lot of experimenting with this album "Immersion". Be sure to check it out though.

The Island Part I (Dawn) and Part II (Dusk) are definitely two of my fave tracks on the album.

Another band worth checking out are The Glitch Mob for their experimental sounds. Miz featured a couple of tracks by them of their album "Drink The Sea". They do some great remixes and even remixed Lil Wayne's Lollipop ft Kanye!

Step Up 3 is releasing this Friday in India. Check out the OST.

Im trying to spread love for these genre's which have deep melody and balance with the use of musical effects produced from physical and virtual instruments, now while some argue that this is not pure music as it is not completely produced from the regular physical instruments however the sounds produced are unique and thats the original concept of how music began isnt it?.. from us humans liking unique sounds produced by the world around us. This is the same , this kind of music requires a certain amount of patience on the part of the listener to analyze the various layers of sound that come together to form one unique experience that takes you to a higher level with influences from all genres ranging from jazz, rock,country, pop,hip-hop and mainly classical.
