Happy New Year! (Very late I know.)
It’s been a while. I always seem to be saying that these days. Lol. So I couldn’t do my regular post before the holidays with all the party music. So I’m gonna make up for that with one huge post. :)
Arshad is covering most of the trance stuff so I’ll be focusing on the rest of it. I'm also including some Nigerian songs in that. So it’s quite the mixbag. Enjoy!
1. I Need Air - Magnetic Man ft Angela Hunte
This one is quite a chilled out track. Smooth vocals and nice beats. Magnetic Man is made up of three dubstep djs, Benga, Artwork and Skream. Be sure to check out the album. Pretty crazy sounds on it. Got everything on it. Not just dub.
2. Tonight - Enrique ft Ludacris
Well this track is pretty popular. There’s an explicit version and a mild one. I duno why it is that girls love this track, the explicit version that is. If a guy said that to a girl, he’d prolly get slapped. I guess it’s cuz it’s Enrique. :S
3. Mojo So Dope - KiD CuDi
This is off his new album MOTM II- The Legend of Mr. Rager. Love the chorus.
4. Barbra Streisand - Duck Sauce
Nice dance track. Samples Boney M’s “Gotta Go Home”. Duck Sauce is Armand Van Helden and A-Trak.
5. Mr. Right Now - Pitbull ft Akon
“I’m never gonna be your Mr. Right but Imma be your Mr. Right Now”. Pretty much what you’d expect.
6. International Love - Chris Brown ft Pitbull
Again, what you’d expect. Mid-fast club track.
7. 2gether - Far⋆East Movement & Roger Sanchez ft Kanobby
Mad club track. Sanchez provides some nice beats.
8. Rocketeer - Far⋆East Movement ft Ryan Tedder
Nice song. Easy listening.
9. M.I.2 - M.I
Ok so this is not a song. It’s the album. M.I is this mad rapper straight out of Jos, Nigeria. Got easy flow and some good lyrics. According to some, he’s the biggest rapper in Naija right now. Check it out. Couple of songs worth mentioning are -

Slow track. Minaj is good as usual.

The beats get me moving everytime.

Crazy club track.
15. Tomorrow (Give Into The Night) - Dmitri Vegas, Dada Life, Like Mike & Tara McDonald
Fairly old. But nice club track.
16. Bromance (The Love You Seek) - Tim Berg
Nice progression on the original mix. And Avicii’s Extended Vocal Mix has nice vocals.
17. I Just Had S*x - The Lonely Island ft Akon
Ok so this is just a funny song. The Lonely Island are a parody hip hop troupe.
18. Hold Your Hand - R2Bees ft Wande Coal
African Banger. Love this song. R2Bees are Ghanian and Wande Coal is Nigerian.
19. Don’t Dull - Wizkid
Catchy track once you listen to it. I sing along with it now.
20. Beautiful People - Chris Brown ft Benny Benassi
Not bad.
21. Hypercaine - DJ Fresh ft Stamina MC & Koko
MAD track!!! This is so high energy and pumps you up. Get ready to just jump around and dance mad. Check out the video. Insane choreography.
22. Rolex Sweep (Vandalism Remix) - Skepta
Sick club track. Nice beats.
23. Fly - Nicki Minaj ft Rihanna
All the ladies will love this for sure.
24. Kick Us Out - Hyper Crush
Another one of those club tracks. Not bad.
25. Touch Me - Tom & Jerry ft Abigail Bailey
Nice progressive track with nicer vocals.
26. Do It Like A Dude - Jessie J
Nice beats. Very familiar sounding but can’t place it. I'm not so sure I like the song overall yet. But check it out anyway.
27. Lonely Girl - Oceanlab
Very nice track. This is actually quite old. The Gareth Emery remix is pretty sick too.
28. All She Wrote - T.I. ft Eminem
Sick collab. Works. Well.
29. Moment 4 Life - Nicki Minaj ft Drake
Very nice track. This collab works. Unsurprisingly.
30. Got Your Back - T.I. ft Keri Hilson
Sweet track. Goes out to all the ladies. ;)

Very nice track. Got a nice acoustic sound to it.
32. Half Light (Max Graham Remix) - tyDi ft Tania Zygar
Cool progression here. Tania's vocals are just right for the track. Check out the original too. Has some mad variations in it.

This is a really nice alternative track. Very old. But I just stumbled on it.
